When burning for the first time, allow the candle to burn for 2 to 3 hours, ensuring the top layer of wax melts completely. This will help prevent tunneling around the wick. For subsequent burns, avoid burning the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
We recommend keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.
